We’ve all heard the advice to “walk a mile” in someone’s shoes. It’s intended to give us a perspective we might be overlooking about why someone does what they do, or says what they say, or don’t do what you expect. Here is a quick snapshot of what it has been like to walk in my shoes, through the eyes of a friend of mine, who interviewed me recently. If you have an employee going through some kind of crisis, which you might not even know about, it might be worth your time to take a short walk. http://yvonneortega.net/patricia-duggan-moving-forward-in-widowhood/#comment-1759.
